Work Experience Programs
At Teen Challenge Southeast, we believe in providing job training for our residents to help them successfully re-enter the workplace after graduating from the program.
The Teen Challenge work experience programs equip residents to learn new career fields and acquire work-related skills including responsibility, teamwork, communication, and enterprise. Current Teen Challenge Southeast programs train students in a variety of technical and entrepreneurial fields including woodworking, retail, customer service, and automotive detail.
Teen Challenge Thrift Stores
Teen Challenge SuperThrift stores give residents the opportunity to gain valuable experience in retail and customer service. As store employees, residents get to serve their local communities while gaining work skills. As a result, it will launch them into their futures beyond Teen Challenge.
Teen Challenge Cleaning Services
Simpliclean Solutions provides careers for individuals whose lives have been transformed through our Teen Challenge programs. By choosing Simpliclean Solutions, you are creating new, hopeful futures for men, women, and their families.
Teen Challenge Microenterprises
A few of the Teen Challenge programs have started their own microenterprise. Live sales also go through Etsy and Facebook, which generated many new customers and raised awareness of Teen Challenge products. The best part—all income from purchases goes directly to the program’s residents who are struggling with life-controlling issues. This helps put hope within reach for many of our addicts.
